Il existe encore des contextes dans lesquels, li\u00e9 \u00e0 un rite d\u2019initiation, \u00e0 un c\u00e9r\u00e9monial de gu\u00e9rison, aux labours et aux moissons, tandis qu\u2019on pile le mil, qu\u2019on c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la lev\u00e9e d\u2019un deuil, qu\u2019on accueille une naissance, la musique est fondamentale.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans l\u2019Ailleurs de l\u2019autre, quatre chanteuses tentent de reproduire fid\u00e8lement des enregistrements collect\u00e9s par des ethnomusicologues tout au long du XX<sup>e<\/sup>&nbsp;si\u00e8cle, sans jamais avoir recours \u00e0 la notation solf\u00e9gique occidentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plac\u00e9es&nbsp;au c\u0153ur du public, lui-m\u00eame immerg\u00e9 dans le dispositif de diffusion du son, les quatre interpr\u00e8tes dialoguent avec la parole enregistr\u00e9e d&#8217;un ethnomusicologue, Gilles L\u00e9othaud.&nbsp;Leurs \u00e9changes reposent sur la r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tation d&#8217;archives de musique vocale du monde entier, d&#8217;instantan\u00e9s pris sur le vif par des chercheurs et voyageurs passionn\u00e9s, d\u00e9sireux de r\u00e9colter des bribes de la m\u00e9moire du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En faisant revivre les voix de disparus anonymes, elles parlent aussi de la leur, \u00e9voquant les diff\u00e9rents pouvoirs confi\u00e9s dans le monde \u00e0 la musique et au chant.&nbsp;Elles nous confrontent aux paradoxes de la technique : ce qui nous permet de fixer le pass\u00e9 nous r\u00e9v\u00e8le le sort incertain&nbsp;que notre monde&nbsp;r\u00e9serve \u00e0 son patrimoine immat\u00e9riel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;L&#8217;ailleurs de l&#8217;autre&#8221; rend hommage \u00e0 plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d&#8217;explorateurs \u00e9merveill\u00e9s par la voix humaine et conscients d&#8217;\u00eatre &#8220;les derniers t\u00e9moins de faits culturels absolument irrempla\u00e7ables&#8221;
